Can minors access?
Minors up to 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, with an authorization which must be signed at the entrance of the venue.
Do children pay?
For minors up to 14 years of age, entry is free, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
Is there a camping area?
Yes! It will be held at the 11-a-side football field in the same municipality. You can camp from Friday the 4th until Sunday the 6th, and it's free. You can park next to your tent, but bringing your vehicle into the camping area costs 10 euros (regardless of how many people are in the vehicle). You need to get the tickets, both free and vehicle, through the tickets section on the website. You'll find all the details in the information section of the website.
How can I pay inside the venue?
You can pay with cash and card inside the venue directly, no need for tokens (we hate them).
How can I get to the venue?
If you arrive by train, there are buses from Reus to the village of Castellvell. You can also arrive to the venue by foot, which takes approximately half an hour. If you come by car, there will be free parking areas available, marked with signposts. Find more information on the location and arrival in the location section of the website.
Are there dedicated areas for disabled or elderly people?
Yes, a higher elevated seated area is available from which you can enjoy the concerts in a privileged way.
Can I enter the venue with drinks?
It is forbidden to access the venue with any type of liquid or beverages for the safety of the attendees.
Can I enter the venue with food?
Food is allowed on the venue whenever and wherever it is reasonable.
Can I re-enter the venue once I leave?
Yes, wristbands will be issued to ensure smooth entry and exit. To make this festival successful, we would appreciate if visitors consume at the festival's own bars and kitchen.
Can minors re-enter the venue?
Yes, minors under the age of 16 can re-enter the venue as long as they are accompanied by an authorized adult. Minors under the age of 16 who are not accompanied by an adult CANNOT leave and re-enter the venue.
Does the festival any food options? Will there be vegan and vegetarian options?
Food will be available for purchase at the festival. We will consider everybody's needs, although we cannot guarantee coverage for all possible allergens. If you have any type of allergy, please check with the staff.
Will there be a merchandising area?
Yes, a dedicated area will be available for merchandising of Castellhell, the bands and others.
Can moshpits be held?
Yes, we encourage them! Please be respectful with other attendees and provide support when needed.
Can I purchase tickets at the box office on the day of the festival?
Yes, as long as there are still tickets available. We expect a high amount of attendees and therefore recommend to purchase tickets online ahead of time. We have a track record of selling out!
What should I do if I witness any disturbance, fight, provocation or sexual harassment?
The festival has authorized security and right of admission. Report it immediately to the staff and we'll take care of the situation. We want to be a safe, free and tolerant space.
Are there lockers for clothes and backpacks at the venue?
The venue does not provide any lockers.
Will the festiva be cancelled in case of rain?
No, the area of the venue is semi-open. Previous festivals have continue to take place despite of heavy rain or storm. We'll thank Odin for keeping everyone safe on the road and not giving us rain.
Where do the possible profits of the festival go?
CastellHell is a non-profit initiative, so the organizers are only negatively affected in case of losses. Possible profits are reinvested in the next edition and in other potential initiatives in the area.
Can I have a party in the parking lot?
It goes without saying that there are neighbors who want to enjoy their rest and we therefore request everyone to be respectful in regards to nuisance. The following editions of the festival depend on it.
Is Castellhell the same as Castle Hell?
Yes, Castellhell is often misspelled as Castle Hell. Our metal festival is the same great event you are looking for!
