KRAANIUM

Formed in 2001, Kraanium are one of the original pioneers of the slamming brutal death metal genre. Born in the depths of Norway’s underground, the band has since evolved into a multinational slam machine uniting brutal forces from across Europe.

With six full-length albums, three split CDs, and more releases on the way, Kraanium continues to push the limits of sonic violence. Their latest offering, “Scriptures of Vicennial Defilement” (Unique Leader Records, 2023), marked the start of a three-album deal with the legendary label.

Having toured globally and performed at iconic festivals, Kraanium has built a loyal worldwide fanbase. The band remains dedicated to honouring the memory and passion of their late brother and former vocalist, Martin Funderud (1978–2017). Rest in Power.
